Click your snap of creativity by focusing a snap through a canon EOS 400D.Canon is having a 10 MP camera to do it all yes it is the canon EOS 400D, it includes the ten megapixel CMOS sensor (up to ISO 1600), a new dust reduction system, nine area auto focus, Picture Styles, a large 2.5″ LCD monitor which now also provides shooting information (the second control panel LCD is gone) and better continuous shooting buffering.
This new camera follows the design of the EOS 350D, being very compact and relatively lightweight but not compromising on manual controls or in-use performance. The headline changes are another two megapixel step up (to ten megapixels), the nine-point AF sensor from the EOS 30D, a new dust removal system which includes anti-static surface coatings, low-pass filter vibration and software based dust removal pattern removal. Less important but just as noticeable are the removal of the status LCD, replaced instead by a camera settings screen on the now larger 2.5″ LCD monitor and the eye proximity sensor just below the viewfinder to turn this off when composing your shot. The cost is so compromising that it will cost about thirty one thousand only(31,000/-). it is much satisfactory for its performance.

Why EOS 400D ?

  • The EOS 400D’s 10.1 Megapixel sensor employs the same outstanding CMOS image quality advantage of its big brothers in the professional EOS 1 range. Super sensitive in low light and virtually noise free, CMOS is also fast and power efficient.
  • For consistently pristine results, a complete dust prevention and cleaning system works to keep the EOS 400D’s sensor spotless. A combination of technologies reduces, repels and removes dust and includes a Self-Cleaning Sensor Unit that shakes dust from the sensor with each power on.
  • Reviewing your work is a delight with the super bright 2.5″ 230k pixel display – nearly twice the size of the EOS 350D. Photos feel crisper, richer and more saturated, while a 160° viewing angle makes for easy at-a-glance checking and sharing.
  • Shoot at 3 fps for continuous bursts of up to 27 large JPEG images (10 RAW): like shooting a whole roll of film in a single burst.
  • Switching between Picture Style presets is like being able to change film mid-roll to achieve different colour response and Black & White effects. Sharpness, contrast, colour tone and saturation are individually adjustable.
  • Select from one of nine fixed focusing points across the scene for fast, accurate focusing – even with off-centre subjects and ‘rule-of-thirds’ compositions.
  • This tiny super-computer renders colours with precision, accuracy and speed. Fast and power efficient, DIGIC II also delivers instant 0.2 second start up time.
  • Protecting the camera is a tough, durable casing that also keeps weight down to just 510 grams.
  • The EOS 400D is compatible with all of the more than 60 EF and EF-S lenses and all EX Series Speedlite flash units. E-TTL II passes data such as focal length and distance information from compatible EF lenses to the Speedlites for consistently accurate flash exposures.

“500 smiles welcome the Fiat 500 to India” says Fiat india.

fiat is doing the finishing touches to establish it’s stability in Indian market. They are targeting fiat 500 model to do all these success for them. The Fiat 500 small car will be imported to India as a completely built unit, as an image building exercise for the car maker in the country. The Fiat 500 as a mass market product in India, considering that it will cost more than much larger cars in India, like the Skoda Octavia or Honda Civic. The Fiat 500 will be a flagship model for the company – Fiat’s image has not really recovered in India after their initial hiccups in the late 1990s. Their alliance with Tata Motors in India has taken care of the negativity somewhat, but customers are still nervous about going in for a Fiat. A high end, iconic model (for India) like the Fiat 500 should go some way in restroing Fiat’s credibility in India.

Unlike other companies like Honda, Hyundai, Skoda, etc giving medium level luxury sedan for the price. The fiat 500 will cost about 13 lacs(or above) rupees. Where the car is having the technical specifications as listed
Engine : 1400cc-petrol | 1200cc-petrol | 1248cc-diesel(multijet),
Power : 100 bhp | 69 bhp | 75 bhp,
Torque : about 14.8kgm@1500 rpm for diesel.
Lenght : 3.55 metres | – | – | ,
It is having seven airbags for advanced security. And has many added facilities such as engine meets Euro-5 norms, 185-litre boot space.

Fiat 500 in India

Fiat 500 in India

Two door(first in this class),

Three variant engines,

Fiats label.

Unacceptable price,

High cost on spares,

Existing luxury sedans starting from Swift Dzire, Honda City, Civic, Suzuki SX4, Skoda Octavia, etc with pricing less than Fiat-500.

My Expectation

In my opinion the fiat-500 will not be able to succeed in india. Lowering the cost may promote sales. Which is not possible, since above 75 percent of components are imported. Two or three may get sold in an year ;).

My opinion is not what that is going to happen., you can also give your opinion. Comments please.
